Overview
The Drum N Base Vintage Persian Style Stage Rug combines classic aesthetic appeal with professional-grade durability. Designed specifically for the rigors of the stage and studio, this heavy-duty mat provides a secure, non-slip foundation for your gear while adding a sophisticated visual element to your performance space. Manufactured in Belgium—a region renowned for superior textile production—this rug is engineered to withstand heavy foot traffic and the constant movement of musical equipment without curling or shifting.
Key Details
- Premium Construction: Features a 4mm thick polyamide velour top that offers a balance of grip, comfort, and extreme durability.
- Anti-Slip Foundation: Equipped with a 2.5mm thick road-proof rubber backing that ensures the rug lies flat and stays locked in place, preventing dangerous curling at the corners.
- Weather & Wear Resistant: The top surface is waterproof and UV-resistant, protecting the fabric from fading and moisture damage.
- Easy Maintenance: Specifically designed to be easy to clean; wood chips from drumsticks and general stage debris can be removed quickly, and the rug can be cleaned using simple soap and water.
- Vibration Dampening: The dense construction helps reduce unwanted vibrations, providing a more stable environment for percussion and amplified gear.
Use Cases
- Drum Kits: The 6-foot x 5.25-foot dimensions are ideal for full drum sets, comfortably accommodating a kick drum, snare, two floor toms, and a drum throne.
- Stage Setups: Perfect for guitarists and bassists to define their performance area and keep pedalboards and amplifiers from sliding.
- Studio Environments: Adds a professional look to practice spaces and recording studios while protecting flooring from heavy hardware.
- Multi-Instrumental Use: Suitable for keyboard rigs, wind instrument stations, and vocal areas where a clean, non-slip surface is required.
Installation
Installation is immediate and requires no adhesives or fasteners. Simply unroll the rug in your desired performance area. Due to the rigid, high-quality construction and heavy rubber backing, the rug is designed to settle flat instantly without the need for weighting the corners.
