Overview
The Drum N Base Vintage Persian Style Stage Rug combines a classic, sophisticated aesthetic with heavy-duty industrial construction. Designed specifically for the rigors of the stage and studio, this rug provides a stable, non-slip foundation for musicians while adding a professional visual element to any performance space. Unlike standard rugs, this mat is engineered with a road-proof rubber backing and a durable velour top to withstand constant movement and heavy equipment.
Key Details
- Premium Construction: Made in Belgium, leveraging a long history of superior textile manufacturing for higher quality and longevity than standard competitor products.
- Anti-Slip Foundation: Features a 2.5mm thick, rigid anti-slip rubber backing that ensures the rug lies flat and stays flat, preventing dangerous curling at the corners.
- Durable Surface: The 4mm thick top is crafted from polyamide velours, providing a high-grip surface that is resistant to wear and tear.
- Low Maintenance: The top surface is waterproof and UV-resistant, making it easy to clean drumstick wood chips or spills using simple soap and water.
- Vibration Dampening: The heavy-duty material helps reduce unwanted vibrations between the instrument and the floor, improving sonic clarity and stability.
Use Cases
- Drum Kits: Specifically sized to fit full drum sets, including two floor toms and a drum throne, preventing bass drum creep during high-energy performances.
- Pedalboard Setups: Provides a stable, non-slip base for guitar and bass pedalboards, keeping cables and pedals secure.
- Studio Aesthetics: Adds a professional, “vintage” look to practice spaces and recording studios while protecting flooring from amp and stand scratches.
- Multi-Instrument Stations: Ideal for keyboard players, wind instrument performers, and vocalists who require a designated, slip-free area on stage.
Installation
Installation is immediate with no assembly required. Simply unroll the rug in your desired performance area. Due to the high-quality rigid construction and heavy rubber backing, the rug is designed to settle flat immediately without the need for weights or adhesives to secure the corners.
