Overview
The Drum N Base Vegan Cow Drum Rug is a professional-grade, heavy-duty stage mat designed to provide maximum stability and durability for drummers and musicians. Combining a striking “Clara” black and white aesthetic with industrial-strength construction, this rug ensures your gear stays exactly where you place it, regardless of the intensity of the performance.
Manufactured in Belgium—a region renowned for superior textile engineering—this rug is built to outperform standard alternatives. It features a high-density polyamide velour top and a rigid anti-slip rubber backing, making it an essential addition to any professional stage, recording studio, or home practice space.
Key Details
- Superior Grip: Equipped with a 1.5 mm thick anti-slip rubber backing that prevents the rug from shifting during high-energy performances.
- Premium Surface: The 4mm thick polyamide velour top provides a soft yet durable grip for hardware and pedals.
- Flat-Lay Technology: Engineered with a rigid construction that ensures the rug lies completely flat, eliminating dangerous curling at the corners.
- Weather & Wear Resistant: The top surface is waterproof and UV-resistant, protecting the rug from fading and environmental damage.
- Easy Maintenance: Specifically designed to be easy to clean; wood chips from drumsticks can be removed quickly, and the material can be cleaned with simple soap and water.
- Vibration Dampening: The heavy-duty construction helps reduce unwanted vibrations, improving the sonic clarity of your kit and protecting the floor.
Use Cases
- Full Drum Setups: The 6-foot x 5.25-foot dimensions are ideal for larger kits, comfortably accommodating a full drum set including two floor toms and a drum throne.
- Multi-Instrumental Stations: Perfect for stabilizing keyboard stands, guitar pedalboards, bass rigs, and amplifier setups.
- Professional Stages: The road-proof rubber backing makes it suitable for touring and temporary stage installations where grip is critical.
- Studio Environments: Provides a clean, professional look while offering necessary acoustic dampening for recording sessions.
Installation
Installation is immediate and requires no tools. Simply unroll the rug in your desired performance area. Because of the high-quality rigid construction, the rug is designed to settle flat immediately without the need for weights or adhesives to keep the corners down.

- Percussion: All drum kit configurations, including double-kick pedals and large hardware footprints.
- Electronics: Keyboard stands, synth rigs, and electronic drum kits.
