Key Details
- Signature Artist Design: Features Chad Smith’s signature stamped directly into the bell, certifying it as a professional artist-endorsed instrument.
- Red Jenigor Ridge: Equipped with a patented Red Jenigor Ridge that serves a dual purpose: it effectively dampens the sound for a focused, controlled tone and provides critical resistance against denting.
- Vise-Clamp Mounting: Includes a patented Vise-Clamp system with an integrated memory lock, ensuring the bell remains securely in place even during aggressive playing styles.
- Premium Construction: Proudly made in the U.S.A. to ensure the highest standards of quality, longevity, and structural integrity.
Use Cases
- Live Performance: Ideal for touring drummers who require a consistent, loud, and durable cowbell that can withstand the rigors of the road.
- Studio Recording: Perfect for adding sharp, rhythmic accents to rock or funk tracks where a defined, non-ringing tone is required for a clean mix.
- Hybrid Setups: An excellent choice for percussionists integrating a mountable bell into a larger drum kit or a dedicated percussion rig.
Installation
The Ridge Rider is designed for quick and secure integration into existing hardware. The Patented Vise-Clamp is engineered to fit rods ranging from 9.5mm to 12.5mm (3/8″ to 1/2″ diameter). Once the bell is positioned, the integrated memory lock allows you to save your preferred height and angle, ensuring a fast and consistent setup for subsequent performances.
