Description
Overview
The DRUMnBASE Pro Heavy Persian Rug in Road Worn Black combines high-end stage aesthetics with critical acoustic functionality. Designed specifically for musicians, this rug does more than provide a visual vibe; it creates a “free floating” environment for your gear. By utilizing a heavy-duty construction and a specialized rubber backing, it minimizes the choking effect often caused by standard flooring, allowing instruments to resonate more naturally and freely.
Key Details
- Acoustic Optimization: Engineered to reduce unwanted frequencies, coupling, and reflections, ensuring a cleaner sound profile on stage or in the studio.
- Heavy-Duty Build: Features a total thickness of 6.5mm, including an extra-thick rubber backing to provide maximum stability and sound dampening.
- Gear Stability: The high-friction backing keeps drum kits, pedalboards, and amplifiers firmly in place, preventing gear drift during high-energy performances.
- Road Worn Aesthetic: The Persian-inspired Road Worn Black design provides a professional, sophisticated look that complements any stage setup.
- Substantial Mass: Weighing approximately 7kg (10.08 lbs), the rug provides the necessary density to isolate equipment from floor vibrations.
Use Cases
- Drummers: Provides a non-slip foundation that prevents bass drums from sliding while optimizing the resonance of the shells.
- Guitarists & Bassists: Ideal for placing under pedalboards to keep effects units secure and prevent unwanted spring reverb vibrations in amplifiers.
- Studio Recording: Used as a localized acoustic treatment to control floor reflections and isolate instruments from mechanical noise.
Installation
Installation is immediate. Simply unroll the rug in your desired performance area. Ensure the surface is clean and dry to allow the extra-thick rubber backing to grip the floor effectively. No adhesives or additional fasteners are required to maintain gear stability.

This rug is compatible with all standard musical equipment, including:
