Description
Overview
Voicemax by Karanyisounds is a comprehensive vocal production powerhouse that combines real-time tuning, smart harmonies, and a full vocal editor into a single plugin. Designed for modern music production, it allows artists to move seamlessly from transparent pitch correction to the aggressive, robotic “hard-tune” sound prevalent in contemporary pop and urban genres.
Beyond simple correction, Voicemax acts as a creative companion, enabling users to generate instant backing vocals, experiment with otherworldly textures, and convert vocal performances into MIDI data for further instrumentation.
Key Details
- Real-Time Vocal Tuning: Achieve everything from subtle, natural pitch correction to hard-tuned robotic effects. Control the Tune Amount for firmness, Retune for speed, and Smoothing to define the transition between notes.
- Smart Harmony Engine: Generate up to four live harmony voices that stay perfectly in key with your lead. Utilize presets such as Thirds, Octaves, Unison, Deep, and Full Stack, with individual control over interval, pan, and level.
- Advanced Vocal Shaping: Use Spread and Formant controls to adjust the perceived width and physical size of the singers, creating everything from intimate whispers to massive vocal walls.
- Harmony Builder: A timeline-based workflow where you can drop chord blocks to dictate exactly what the harmony voices sing. Chords can be copied, pasted, stretched, and moved to compose complex progressions.
- Creative Textures: Integrated tools for creating “creatures,” robots, and otherworldly sounds, as well as reshaping speaking voices for character work or podcasting.
- MIDI Export: Turn your tuned melodies and generated harmonies into MIDI files, allowing you to trigger any synth or sampler with your vocal performance.
Use Cases
- Modern Pop & Trap: Apply heavy retuning for the signature “auto-tune” effect and stack thick, wide harmonies for a polished commercial sound.
- Songwriting & Sketching: Sing a rough idea into the plugin, hear it instantly tuned and harmonized, and export the MIDI to build a full arrangement.
- Podcast & Voiceover: Reshape a speaking voice to create distinct characters or add a professional, processed sheen to spoken word content.
- Live Performance: Use the real-time processing capabilities to monitor tuned and harmonized vocals while singing.
