Schön blöd, macht nicht den gleichen Fehler 😉 Ich hatte die Software schon länger im Auge, fand den Preis aber relativ hoch. Mein Plan war die Effekte ab und an dezent, in einigen meiner Aufnahmen, einzusetzen. Besonders in den englischsprachigen Foren gehen die Meinungen über die Software doch sehr auseinander. Besonders der erste Teil hat keinen guten Ruf. Die Soundqualität wäre einfach zu schlecht. Beim zweiten Teil sollte sich das verbessert haben. Die Kritiken in den Fachzeitschriften sind eher positiv. Bemängelt wird höchstens der hohe Ressourcenverbrauch. Vor kurzem habe ich, den mit der Software eng verwandten, Vocal Doppler getestet. Das Ergebnis war ok bis gut. Aber auch hier war der Ressourcenverbrauch eine absolute Katastrophe, es kam zu Instabilität in Reaper und ich konnte sogar Projekte nicht mehr richtig speichern (Projekt brauchte außerdem auf einmal 1 – 2 Minuten zum öffnen, statt 5 – 10 Sekunden – 8 Spuren…) Das stand alles in keiner Relation zum Nutzen des Programmes. (16 Kern 5950x CPU + 32 GB RAM) Am Ende entscheidet aber für mich in erster Linie das Ohr und da klingt fast alles grottig. Ich hab alle Vorsettings mehrfach getestet. Selbst die unauffälligeren und dezenten Vorsettings (es gibt nur 3 -4 davon) sorgen dafür, dass die damit bearbeite Spur hörbar an Klarheit und Brillianz verliert. Es ist zwar nicht ausgeschlossen, dass ich nochmal irgendwas davon, in irgendeinem Mix irgendwie nutzen kann. Alleine das komische Ressourcen- und Stabilitätsverhalten, was bei mir bisher bei iZotope Produkten aufgetreten ist, rechtfertigt schon keine weiteren Versuche. Vielleicht hab ich einfach zu hohe Ansprüche aber das ist am Ende auch nur meine subjektive Meinung. Served with love!
