Overview
The Drum N Base Vintage Persian Style Stage Mat in Blue combines classic aesthetic appeal with professional-grade durability. Engineered specifically for the rigors of the stage and studio, this heavy-duty rug provides a secure, non-slip foundation for your gear while adding a sophisticated visual element to your performance space. Unlike many standard mats, this rug is manufactured in Belgium, leveraging a long history of superior textile production to ensure a rigid, high-quality construction that withstands constant movement and heavy equipment.
Key Details
- Premium Construction: Features a 4mm thick polyamide velour top that provides exceptional grip and long-term durability.
- Anti-Slip Foundation: Equipped with a 1.5mm thick road-proof rubber backing that ensures the mat stays firmly in place during intense performances.
- Flat-Lay Design: Engineered to lie completely flat immediately upon deployment, eliminating curling at the edges or corners.
- Weather & Stain Resistant: The top surface is UV-resistant and waterproof, allowing for easy cleaning of drumstick wood chips and debris using simple soap and water.
- Vibration Dampening: The multi-layered construction helps reduce unwanted vibrations, improving sound isolation and gear stability.
Use Cases
- Drummers: Ideal for compact electronic drum kits, small percussion setups, or as a stable base for acoustic kits to prevent hardware creep.
- Guitarists & Bassists: Perfect for anchoring pedalboard setups, amplifiers, and effects chains to prevent sliding on slick stage floors.
- Keyboardists: Provides a professional look and feel for keyboard stands and synth rigs in studio or live environments.
- General Stage Use: Suitable for vocalists, wind instrument players, and as a decorative yet functional accent for practice rooms and home studios.
Installation
Installation is instantaneous. Simply unroll the mat in your desired location. Because of the high-quality Belgian textile construction and the weighted rubber backing, the mat is designed to settle immediately without the need for adhesive or weights to keep the corners flat. For maintenance, simply wipe or wash the waterproof velour surface with soap and water to remove dust and wood splinters.
