Installation
As a physical percussion instrument, no complex installation is required. To prepare the djembe for play:
- Tuning: Use a standard tuning key to adjust the 5/16″ lugs. Tighten in a cross-pattern (star pattern) to ensure even tension across the goat skin head.
- Positioning: The instrument can be played while seated or placed on a dedicated djembe stand for standing performances.
