Trailer Strings by Musical Sampling is a powerhouse sample library engineered specifically for the “oversized aesthetic” required in modern, high-impact cinematic productions. Featuring a massive 60-string ensemble—comprising 18 violins, 16 violas, 14 cellos, and 12 double basses—this library was recorded in a large concert hall with a centered, wide seating arrangement to deliver the aggressive, hugantic sound essential for epic trailers.

While engineered for triple-forte (fff) intensity to cut through dense mixes, Trailer Strings offers surprising dynamic versatility. The library ranges from thunderous, over-the-top productions down to delicate piano levels, including sustains that are six dynamics deep. With specialized techniques like sul tasto for whispered tones and a dedicated SFX section for atonal textures, it provides composers with a complete toolkit for both wall-of-sound climaxes and brooding tension.

Note: This product requires registration with Musical Sampling at www.musicalsampling.com to activate your license. This library requires the full retail version of Kontakt (5.5.1 or higher) and is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
