THU Premium v2 by Overloud is a professional guitar amp simulator plugin (VST/AU/AAX) built for players and producers who expect convincing tone and realistic response. Combining advanced amp modeling, rig capturing, and next-generation impulse response processing, it delivers the sound, feel, and spatial detail of a fully mic’d guitar rig.

With AIR “Amp In Room” technology and Fluid IRs, THU produces mix-ready guitar tones in your session and on stage across rock, metal, blues, pop, and beyond. THU Premium v2.1 adds practical improvements for building sounds, shaping tone, and controlling the plugin in real time. THU Premium v2.1 is a free update for existing THU Premium users. THU is already the most powerful amp simulator in its class. Now, with AIR "Amp In Room" technology, it includes a key feature for delivering a finished, authentic guitar tone. By modeling how a speaker cabinet interacts with its physical environment, AIR introduces a sense of spatial realism, one that’s rarely captured through traditional cabinet IRs or static mic placements.

The result is a tone that feels more lifelike, three-dimensional, and truly “in the room." Every THU product, from Rig Libraries to THU Premium, now runs on the v2 engine with redesigned models, a pedalboard-style layout, Fluid IRs, and AIR for natural room feel , all in one plugin. As always, these pedals arrive as a free update for all THU v2 Premium users, part of Overloud’s ongoing commitment to deliver new models, features, and presets at no additional cost: A doubling effect for adding width and dimension. Use it to spread rhythm guitars, add space to clean parts, or recreate the feel of double-tracking with a natural, mix-ready result.
