Tenebrae is an MNTRA Instruments Artist Series virtual instrument created in collaboration with Joseph Holiday, alias SNAKES OF RUSSIA. It focuses on dark, apocalyptic, synthetic textures built from modular synth patches, heavy analog subs, bowed instruments, noisy percussion, gritty drum samples, and extensive outboard/tape processing.
Powered by the MNDALA 2 engine, Tenebrae is designed for cinematic sound design, scoring, game audio, and dark electronic production. It delivers playable soundscapes with deep real-time control rather than a static sample pack.
