By controlling reverb resonances via the 12-note chromatic scale, you can precisely determine which notes bloom or wither within a space, creating harmonic ambiances that were previously unattainable.
Key Details
At the core of this plugin is Modal Reverb Technology. Rather than capturing a static snapshot of a room, Temperance models spaces as thousands of independent resonances (modes). Each mode acts as an independent resonator with adjustable frequency, decay time, amplitude, and phase, allowing you to build a space piece by piece in real time.
- The Temper Knob: The central control for musicality. At noon, it behaves like a traditional reverb; turning it clockwise emphasizes selected notes, while turning it counterclockwise de-emphasizes them.
- Radial Note Selection: Intuitive buttons that allow you to choose exactly which notes of the chromatic scale to emphasize or suppress.
- NoteScape Visualizer: A real-time visual map that displays emphasized and de-emphasized notes as they sustain and decay.
