Overview

Temperance Lite by Eventide is the world’s first musical reverb that allows producers and engineers to control reverb resonances using the 12-note chromatic scale. Moving beyond the limitations of traditional algorithmic or convolution reverbs, Temperance Lite responds to the language of music, enabling you to choose exactly which notes bloom or wither within a space to create ambiances that were previously unattainable.

At the core of this plugin is Modal Reverb Technology. Rather than capturing a static snapshot of a room, Temperance models reverberant spaces as thousands of independent resonances (modes) that are adjustable in real time. By treating the reverb space like a room filled with thousands of tunable resonators, you can shape the decay and amplitude of specific frequencies to ensure your ambiance perfectly complements the harmonic content of your track.

Installation

Temperance Lite is a virtual software plugin. After purchase, download the installer from your account. An iLok account is required for license activation, though no physical dongle is necessary. Once installed, the plugin can be loaded within your DAW via the VST3, AU, or AAX formats.
