Description
Overview
The Supremo Select Cyclone Series Cajon is a professional-grade percussion instrument designed for musicians who demand a wide dynamic range and superior tonal clarity. Crafted from hand-selected, aged Siam Oak wood, this cajon delivers a powerful sonic profile that bridges the gap between a traditional drum kit and a portable percussion box.
Each unit is hand-made and individually tested to ensure consistent sound quality, providing a reliable tool for both studio recording and live performance. Whether you need a thumping low-end or a crisp, cutting high-end, the Cyclone Series is engineered to deliver high-impact sound with minimal effort.
Key Details
- Premium Construction: Built using aged Siam Oak wood, selected for its density and resonance to ensure a rich, organic tone.
- Dynamic Sound Profile: Engineered to produce deep, loud bass tones for the low end and high, sharp slap notes for rhythmic accents.
- Customizable Response: Features an internal snare system that is fully adjustable via an included Allen wrench, allowing you to dial in the exact amount of buzz and snap.
- Quality Assurance: Every instrument is hand-made and individually tested to meet strict sound quality standards.
Use Cases
- Acoustic Performances: Ideal for singer-songwriters and unplugged sets where a full drum kit is impractical but a strong rhythmic foundation is required.
- Street Performing: The portable design and loud projection make it a perfect choice for busking and outdoor events.
- Studio Recording: The distinct separation between the bass and slap tones allows for clean mixing and a professional percussive layer in any genre.
- Educational Settings: A durable and intuitive instrument for students learning percussion or adding rhythmic variety to a classroom ensemble.
Installation
The Supremo Select Cyclone Series Cajon is ready to play straight out of the box. To customize the sound, use the included Allen wrench to adjust the tension of the snare wires. Tightening the wires will produce a crisper, tighter slap, while loosening them will provide a deeper, more open resonance.
Compatibility
This instrument is a standalone percussion piece. It is compatible with various optional accessories (sold separately), including:
