Description
Overview
The Gibraltar Stealth Vertical Mounting System Single Tom Kit is a revolutionary hardware solution designed to showcase your drum set while eliminating the clutter of traditional tripod stands and bulky rack bars. By utilizing a low-profile, vertical mounting plane, this system provides a rock-solid foundation for your drums without obstructing the view of your bass drum or interfering with your playing space.
Key Details
- Versatile Tube Compatibility: Integrated nylon sleeves are designed to accept 3/4″, 7/8″, and 1″ diameter tom mounting or snare basket tubes.
- Optimized Mounting Heights: The system features a dedicated snare vertical mounting post measuring 11″ from the floor to the mount, and a tom vertical mounting post measuring 18″ from the floor to the top of the mount.
- Smart Connectivity: A 30″ bent connecting tube links the tom and snare vertical posts, specifically engineered to avoid interference with double pedal connector arms.
- Comprehensive Mounting Hardware: Includes a single platform mount equipped with 10.5mm and 12.7mm ball L arms, along with a snare basket for complete tom and snare integration.
Use Cases
- Clean Stage Aesthetics: Ideal for drummers who want a “floating” look for their toms and snare without the visual distraction of large rack bars across the front of the kit.
- Double Pedal Users: Perfect for bass drummers using double pedals who require a stable mounting system that does not obstruct the connector arm.
- Custom Kit Configurations: Suitable for various set-up styles where traditional tripod stands create too much foot-traffic congestion around the throne.
Installation
The Stealth Vertical Mounting System is designed for a straightforward setup. The vertical posts are positioned to create a stable base, which are then joined by the bent connecting tube. Once the foundation is secure, the platform mount and snare basket are attached to the posts. The included nylon sleeves ensure a snug fit for various tube diameters, allowing for precise positioning of the tom and snare.
