Description
Overview
The IQ Plus Ratchet is a classic orchestral percussion instrument designed to deliver sharp, loud, and rhythmic clicking sounds. Often referred to as a noisemaker, this instrument is engineered for high-impact sonic presence, making it an essential tool for adding texture, tension, or festive energy to a musical arrangement.
Combining a simple mechanical design with a powerful output, the ratchet utilizes a gearwheel and board mechanism that produces rapid rattling sounds through centrifugal force. Whether used in a formal orchestral setting or as an educational tool, it provides an immediate and engaging auditory response.
