Samson Q9x Broadcast Dynamic Microphone

Description

The Samson Q9x Broadcast Dynamic Microphone produces professional high-quality audio for broadcasts, podcasts, streaming and music recording. The microphone has a highly directional capsule for capturing your voice while rejecting background noise. Equipped with an XLR output, the Q9x easily integrates into almost any professional or home studio setup. FEATURES Built for Sound – The Q9x features a professional grade dynamic mic capsule that is optimized for capturing vocal performance. The cardioid pickup pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection while minimizing ambient noise, making it ideal for use in untreated home studios. An advanced humbucking coil reduces the pickup of electromagnetic (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) as well as any hum or buzz from other equipment. A mid-boost circuit switch adds extra presence to vocal frequencies when engaged. Broadcast Power – The Q9x is housed in an aluminum body with an integrated yoke mount that allows it to be attached to a boom arm or desk stand. Inside, a shock mount isolates the capsule from mechanical noise that could be radiated through the body, while an integrated dual-layer grille and removable foam windscreen minimizes annoying pops and plosives for clear, professional sounding broadcasts and recordings. One Mic for All – Equally suitable for a podcast studio, broadcast booth or recording rig, the XLR output allows the microphone to easily connect to almost any standard preamp, mixer or audio interface. The Q9x can handle greater than 140 dB SPL, making it the ideal tool to utilize for any source, from quiet acoustic guitars, to screaming vocalists, snare drums and even blaring trumpets.
