Overview

Pultronic EQ-110P — G-Sonique

The German pro-audio magazine Professional audio Musik & Equipment awarded Pultronic EQ-110P the "Testsieger" (test winner) seal in its comparison test of VST equalizers, ahead of plugins costing several times more. Vintage vacuum tube parametric equalizer VST — adds real, hearable warmth, color and dynamics of vacuum tube devices to your music. Pultronic EQ-110P is an emulation of the classic professional parametric vacuum tube equalizer from the 50s and 60s. We programmed it so it can add real and hearable warmth, color and dynamics of vacuum tube devices to your music.

Many frequency and amplitude analyses of input and output impulses from real vintage vacuum tubes were used during development — these impulses were recorded via real vintage devices, which allowed us to achieve excellent and realistic results. Thanks to this process you can choose from several algorithms that emulate various vacuum tubes for a wide spectrum of music colors. The equalizer contains 4 parametric filters: Low frequency cut, Low frequency boost, Middle frequency cut / boost and High frequency boost. These circuits let you "sweet"-color the sound, softly saturate it and emphasize bass and treble frequencies. The parameters Warmth, Saturation and Brilliance adjust the characteristics of the output amplifying vacuum tubes.

The Pultronic EQ-110P is suitable for recording, tracking and mixing. Don't hesitate to color your digital records with the lovely & sweet as well as dirty & warm sound from the beautiful age of the 60s!
