PolySWAM – Crossgrade is the reduced-price upgrade path to PolySWAM, Audio Modeling’s polyphonic orchestral instrument built on the same physical modeling engine as the SWAM series. This crossgrade edition is intended for owners of an existing SWAM / Audio Modeling product — or for customers purchasing a new Audio Modeling product — and redeems as a full PolySWAM license.

PolySWAM is a new approach to expressive polyphony, designed to bring the expressiveness and performance realism of SWAM instruments into polyphonic orchestral sketching and live performance. It combines intelligent voice allocation, expressive control, and SWAM physical modeling in one playable instrument — zero keyswitches, pure acoustic expression.

• Models the acoustic physics of entire ensembles in real time — no static audio recordings, no rigid velocity layers, no sample streaming.
• Capture rich chord progressions, full voicings, and orchestral mockups on a single DAW track, without loading massive templates.
• A single preset handles delicate sustains, lyrical legatos, sharp staccatos, and dynamic swells — governed by touch and continuous controllers.
• Intelligent Voice Allocation (Complete, Multi, Mono) manages voices dynamically instead of stacking static notes.
• The Ambiente room simulator and Stage Placement physically position each performer on a virtual stage for true acoustic depth, rather than adding wet decay at the end of the chain.
• Developed with Emanuele Ruffinengo, Latin GRAMMY Award-winning producer, arranger, and music technology expert.
• Ideal for orchestral sketching and live performance. Not a replacement for contrapuntal, track-by-track orchestration or note-by-note micro-editing.

Installation: Delivered as a digital license via email. Once the license is received, the software can be installed as a standalone application or as a plugin within your preferred DAW.
