The Musical Sampling PLCK Pluck Sample Collection is a meticulously crafted library designed to move beyond the sterile sound of isolated pluck samples. Unlike traditional libraries that record notes in complete isolation, PLCK captures the essential “pre-pluck” information—the subtle, anticipatory brush of a finger—to ensure every note feels alive and organic.

To achieve a natural flow, all round robin sustain samples were derived from impulsive phrases, and release triggers were sourced from performances specifically developed for successive note writing. This approach captures the critical sonic information “in-between” the notes, allowing composers to “guitar-chestrate” with a level of realism and fluidity rarely found in virtual instruments.

Every sample has been non-destructively hand-tuned by ear to maintain a warm, natural temperament and intonation evolution. Recorded at a comfortably soft dynamic, PLCK provides a sophisticated and useful tone that integrates seamlessly into both simple and intricate musical arrangements.

Please note that Musical Sampling products require registration at www.musicalsampling.com to activate your license. This library is provided as individual personalized files including a Digital Water Mark (DWM) for protection.
