While the original hardware utilized design approaches that may seem counter-intuitive by today’s standards, MixHead preserves these workflows because they deliver results that remain effective and inspiring. To enhance the original experience, Make Believe Studios has added modern refinements, including a tenth-of-a-decibel HF Adjust for precision high-frequency shaping and a new 3.75ips lo-fi mode for added grit and character.

Installation
MixHead is delivered as a digital license. After purchase, follow the publisher’s instructions to download the installer and authorize the software. Please ensure you have an active iLok.com account for license activation. Once installed, perform a standard plugin scan within your DAW to locate the MixHead plugin in your effects list.
