Description
Overview
The Vater Manhattan 7A Wood Drum Sticks are engineered for drummers who require the finesse of a 7A stick but need additional reach and projection. Designed to be longer than the average 7A, these sticks provide a unique balance of lightweight agility and extended leverage, making them an ideal choice for nuanced playing that still demands a presence in the mix.
Crafted from premium American Hickory, these sticks are built to withstand the rigors of consistent play. Vater employs a strict selection process for their dowels, ensuring specific moisture content, straightness, and grain structure to deliver a high-quality, durable product with consistent feel across every pair.
Key Details
- Extended Length: Longer than standard 7A sticks to provide increased reach and a different center of gravity for varied playing styles.
- Precision Tip: Features a small round wood tip designed specifically for defined, articulate cymbal work and clear ghost notes.
- Premium Material: Constructed from high-grade American Hickory for superior shock absorption and long-term durability.
- Strict Quality Control: Each stick is produced from dowels meeting rigorous standards for grain structure and moisture levels to prevent premature breakage.
Use Cases
- Jazz and Light Fusion: Perfect for players who need a lighter touch for ride cymbal patterns and snare work without sacrificing the reach of a larger stick.
- Studio Recording: The small round tip allows for precise articulation, making these ideal for recording sessions where cymbal definition is critical.
- Dynamic Performance: Suitable for drummers who transition between subtle accompaniment and more assertive accents.

No installation is required. These sticks are ready for immediate use upon removal from the packaging.
