Overview
The Samson LM7x is a professional, low-profile unidirectional lavalier microphone designed for those who require high-quality vocal reproduction in a discreet package. Featuring a miniature condenser capsule, this microphone delivers clear, focused audio while remaining virtually invisible to the audience, making it an essential tool for live performance and broadcast environments.
Key Details
- Condenser Capsule: Equipped with a 6.84mm condenser mic capsule for precise audio capture.
- Unidirectional Pickup: The unidirectional polar pattern focuses on the sound source directly in front of the mic, effectively rejecting ambient noise from the sides and rear.
- Frequency Response: Optimized for vocals with a response range of 50Hz to 12kHz.
- Discreet Design: Features a lightweight, inconspicuous clip for secure and subtle placement on ties, lapels, or other clothing.
- Comprehensive Accessory Kit: Includes a “cat fur” windscreen for extreme wind protection, four standard windscreens, a mic clip, and a protective carry case.
Use Cases
The LM7x is engineered for versatility across various vocal-centric applications:
