Jensen Blackbird 10 40 SuperCabinet IR Library — Overloud

Jensen Blackbird 10-40 – SuperCabinet IR Library The official Jensen IR library based on the “Blackbird” P10/40 BB 40W AlNiCo speaker. SuperCabinet or TH-U Premium are Required. The Blackbird 10-40 is a completely new 10”, 40W speaker, with a 1.25” copper-wound voice coil and the exclusive “Reinforced AlNiCo” magnet design that Jensen introduced with the highly successful Blackbird 12-40. "The Jensen Blackbird 40 speakers are a revelation, and in a way, a revolution for us. They brilliantly combine the vintage dynamic sensitivity, the upper midrange attack and openness of the traditional AlNiCo speakers, with a tighter bass foundation and a refined top end that suits even modern, higher gain applications.

The 12” version is excellent in a small Combo or Extension and the 10” is truly impressive, sounding nearly as big and powerful as the bigger sibling, with the added immediacy and unique midrange that is an essential element in an iconic 10” speaker." All these different personalities are brilliantly exploited by Overloud’s high-resolution capturing process, with 19 microphones in 16 positions each, mounted on both a 1×10" and 2×10" cabinets. Every microphone was moved to four different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone and Cone Edge) and two distances and two angulations, for a total of 16 IRs each. All the measurement set has been repeated for each one of the cabinet in the library.

All IRs have been phase aligned and they can be blended without phase cancellations. This library was created for the TH-U SuperCabinet that allows you to: Key Features: – Audio Technica AT4033 – Electrovoice* RE16 – Groove Tubes MD1 – Sennheiser E609 – Sennheiser* MD421 – Graphically browse the IRs in the library – Blend multiple IRs and create totally custom and huge stereo guitar tones – Compose new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode – Export your crafted IRs in .wav format for use with all major hardware modelers and software IR loaders – ProTools 11 and above – Logic Pro 10.0 and above – Cubase 6 and above – Ableton Live 6 and above – Digital Performer 7 and above – Nuendo 5 and above
