Product Overview

Overview

The Iconic Tones Marsh 800mod Collection is a professional-grade rig library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to capture the raw power and sonic characteristics of three legendary modded Marshall amplifiers. This collection provides guitarists with 54 high-fidelity rigs and 37 custom presets, recreating the definitive high-gain tones of the golden era of Rock and Metal.

Utilizing a fully analog signal workflow during the capturing process, this library avoids digital conversion to preserve original punch and mid-range definition. By leveraging Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, the collection reproduces the entire signal chain—including the amplifier’s nonlinear response, the specific cabinet, microphone placement, and the room acoustics—delivering a tactile, authentic feel that responds dynamically to your playing.

What Stands Out

Key Details

This collection focuses on the most influential modded 100-watt heads and rare cabinets used by icons such as Slash, Zakk Wylde, and Tom Morello. The library includes:

  • 1987 Marshall JCM 800 2203: The quintessential 100-watt rock legend known for its signature crunch and precise dynamic response.
  • 1988 Marshall JCM 800 2210: A versatile powerhouse featuring early channel-switching technology, engineered for the demands of ’80s metal.
  • Marshall AFD 100: A modern classic designed for high-gain precision and sustain.
  • Premium Cabinet Selection:
    • Marshall 1960 BVSL 4×12: The Slash JCM Signature model with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
    • Marshall 1960AX “Scarlatto” 4×12: A rare limited edition featuring Celestion G12M Greenbacks for warm, rich midrange.
    • Marshall 1982A 4×12: Equipped with Celestion G12H-80 speakers for tight lows and clear highs.
  • Integrated Pedals: Includes captures of the 1988 BOSS SD-1 MIJ for creamy overdrive and the 2000 EHX Big Muff for massive, roaring fuzz.
  • Studio Grade Mics: Captured using industry-standard Sennheiser MD421 and Audio Technica AE3000 microphones.
