Description
Overview
The HILBE Mo 67 MELCOR is a specialized microphone preamp plug-in designed to capture the aggressive, legendary sonic character of the late 1960s. Modeled after the historic MELCOR® 1731 Op Amp, this software brings the “edge” of early rock n’ roll and military-spec audio engineering directly into your digital workstation.
Originally developed for the United States Military and the AM/FM broadcast market, MELCOR® equipment became a cornerstone of the recording industry during the transition into the rock era. The Mo 67 MELCOR replicates that specific harmonic saturation and punch, providing a streamlined workflow to achieve a “phat” vintage sound without complex menu diving.
