Description
Overview
Harmonia Synthesizer, from Cherry Audio, is a wildly innovative virtual instrument designed to facilitate the creation of rich, evolving polyphonic tones through its highly intuitive visual interface. At its core, Harmonia utilizes two sample-based oscillators, employing techniques reminiscent of additive synthesis. Each oscillator can simultaneously generate up to eight pitches, which can be individually tuned either to a harmonic series or standard semitones.
The instrument derives its distinctive, organic sound from a curated library of hundreds of sampled waveforms, sourced from various synthesizers, traditional instruments, voices, and colorful “lo-fi” sounds. Beyond the extensive built-in library, users have the flexibility to import their own samples, dramatically expanding the tonal palette. Producers can effortlessly craft unique, morphed, and sequencer-like sounds by manipulating waveform selections and harmonic presets.
Harmonia pushes creative boundaries by integrating four syncable LFOs, an expansive multimode filter, click-and-drag envelopes, and a massive modulation matrix. With over 350 professionally designed presets and 17 studio-quality effects, Harmonia provides a comprehensive toolkit for modern sound design.
