It features a unique variable Q behavior where boosts are wide and musical, while cuts become narrow and aggressive, approaching a notch filter in extreme settings. Additionally, its circuit topology subtly widens the stereo image when used on stereo sources, carving out space in a mix without introducing audible artifacts or phase distortion.
