GeoShred Studio is a professional expressive performance platform designed to bridge the gap between traditional MIDI triggering and the fluid nuance of acoustic instruments. By replacing the static nature of piano keyboards with an isomorphic surface tuned in perfect fourths, it ensures that interval shapes remain consistent across all keys, allowing musicians to navigate registers and scales without the mental remapping required by chromatic keyboards.
At its core, GeoShred Studio enables three simultaneous axes of expression on every single note: horizontal movement for continuous pitch bends and glissando, vertical movement for timbral shaping, and pressure for dynamic swells. This polyphonic expression allows for complex performances where one voice can sustain a drone while another executes a melodic bend, all shaped in real-time by the performer’s touch rather than velocity values or keyswitches.
