Description

Product Overview

Overview

Gem VOICE by Overloud is a comprehensive, all-in-one vocal production plug-in designed to streamline the entire vocal mixing process. Utilizing world-class analog DSP modeling, Gem VOICE provides a complete signal chain of essential analog-based modules, allowing producers to move from raw recording to a polished, professional sound within a single interface.

To maximize efficiency, Overloud engineered the GUI for immediate access; all parameters are available on the main panel with a single click, eliminating the need for tedious submenu navigation. Whether you are building a custom chain from scratch or utilizing the 70+ professional presets created by industry engineers like Joe Barresi, John Paterno, and Michele Canova, Gem VOICE delivers no-compromise sound quality for lead vocals, background harmonies, and spoken word.

What Stands Out

Key Details

  • Mic Preamp: Models four distinct real-world mic pre-amplifiers to enrich input signals with authentic analog harmonics.
  • Tape Simulator: Reproduces harmonic distortion from three different tape types at 1/4″, 1/2″, and 2″ speeds, featuring special Flutter, Vocal Dist, and Fuzz modes for added character.
  • Natural Enhancer: Revives thin recordings by bringing out existing natural harmonics to add definition and brilliance without sounding artificial.
  • Multiband Module: A specialized double-filter system featuring a De-Boxer and De-Esser to dynamically attenuate mic artifacts and unwanted frequencies.
  • Dynamic Processing: Includes five different compressor models and an integrated expander-gate for precise level control.
  • Equalization: Five distinct EQ models paired with an Interactive EQ Graph for visual precision.
  • Space & Master: A dedicated Space Processor/Reverb unit and a Master Section equipped with an optional Limiter.
  • Visual Feedback: Features an Interactive Dynamic Graph to monitor processing in real-time.

  • Podcasting & Voice Overs: Utilizing dedicated spoken-voice presets to achieve the “broadcast” sound for dialogue and narration.
  • Audiobook Production: Cleaning up recording artifacts and balancing tonal consistency across long-form spoken recordings.
  • Creative Sound Design: Using the Tape Simulator’s Fuzz and Dist modes to create stylized, aggressive, or vintage vocal effects.
