By combining spot-on emulations of the “2A” and “3A” models into a single plugin, Overloud provides engineers with a versatile tool that captures the authentic “secret sauce” of professional studios.

The plugin faithfully reproduces the photo-cell and opto-attenuator architecture of the original hardware, delivering a natural dual-stage release that is significantly more transparent than standard compressors. While it maintains the sonic integrity of the originals, the GEM series enhancements extend the functionality far beyond the capabilities of the physical hardware.
