Description
Overview
The Samson G-Track Pro Pop Filter is a precision-engineered accessory designed specifically to enhance the recording quality of the G-Track Pro microphone. Essential for any professional podcasting, streaming, or vocal recording setup, this filter eliminates the distracting “p-pops” (plosives) that occur during speech and singing, ensuring a clean, broadcast-ready signal.
Key Details
- Stainless Steel Mesh: Features a high-quality 3.25″ single-layer stainless steel screen that effectively diffuses air blasts without muffling the natural tone of the voice.
- Optimized Dimensions: The 3.75″ filter provides ample coverage to intercept plosives before they reach the microphone capsule.
- Microphone Protection: Acts as a physical barrier that protects the sensitive microphone diaphragm from saliva and moisture, extending the lifespan of your hardware.
- Secure Mounting: Equipped with a pair of durable spring steel clamp arms that ensure a tight, stable fit around the microphone body.
Use Cases
- Podcasting: Ideal for spoken word content where sharp consonant sounds (like ‘P’ and ‘B’) can cause clipping or distortion in the audio track.
- Live Streaming: Perfect for gamers and streamers who need a professional sound profile without the need for bulky, external pop filter stands.
- Vocal Recording: Useful for voice-over work and singing to maintain a consistent, polished vocal take with minimal post-production cleanup.
Installation
Installation is straightforward and requires no tools. The pop filter is designed to mount securely around the upper body of the G-Track Pro microphone. Simply slide the spring steel clamp arms over the microphone chassis until they lock firmly in place, positioning the mesh screen directly in front of the capsule.
Compatibility
This product is designed exclusively for use with the Samson G-Track Pro microphone. It is not intended for use with other microphone models due to the specific dimensions of the mounting clamps.
