Description
Overview
The Fox Echo Chorus V2 by SAFARI PEDALS is a professional-grade chorus and tape-style echo processor designed to inject the grit, movement, and character of vintage analog tape into digital productions. Moving beyond polite modulation, the V2 focuses on “the swirl,” offering a versatile toolkit for producers who need everything from subtle thickening to unhinged, psychedelic textures.
Key Details
- Three Chorus Flavors: Choose between Classic for traditional shimmer, Ensemble for rich thickening, and Wild for aggressive, experimental modulation.
- Precision Modulation: Dedicated Depth and Speed controls allow for surgical adjustment of the chorus effect.
- Drive Circuit: An integrated saturation stage that allows you to push the signal until the chorus screams, adding harmonic warmth or distorted edge.
- Dual Tape Echo Engines: Two independent echo engines featuring individual Time, Repeats, and Tempo Sync for complex rhythmic delays.
- Stereo Imaging: Specialized stereo modes designed to throw repeats across the stereo field for immersive spatial depth.
- Integrated Effects: Includes an onboard Spring Reverb for added splash and a 2-band EQ (Bass and Treble) to keep low-end tight and high-end shimmering.
Use Cases
- Vintage Vocals: Create dark, murky slapbacks or wide, shimmering vocal stacks that evoke classic recording eras.
- Guitar & Keys: Add authentic analog movement to clean electric guitars or lush, swirling ambient clouds to synthesizers.
- Creative Sound Design: Utilize the “Wild” chorus setting and high drive to create distorted, evolving textures for cinematic or industrial tracks.
- Mix Depth: Use the stereo echo engines to create width and space in a dense mix without muddying the center image.
