Description
Overview
The Mackie CR2-X Cube Premium Desktop Speakers redefine the expectations for compact audio. Designed to eliminate the “small sound” typically associated with desktop monitors, these speakers utilize innovative BMR (Balanced Mode Radiators) driver technology. This advanced design allows for crystal-clear, room-filling sound and ultra-wide dispersion from a stealthy, compact footprint, providing a professional listening experience without occupying excessive desk space.
Key Details
- BMR Driver Technology: Features a flat disc design that removes the need for separate high-frequency drivers and crossovers, eliminating the “boxy” megaphone effect found in traditional cones.
- Immersive Imaging: Delivers exceptional spatial accuracy, ensuring vocals remain centered and instruments possess distinct depth and dimension.
- Integrated Touch Bar: An elegant, touch-sensitive volume control located along the base of the main speaker for seamless adjustments.
- Versatile Connectivity: A dedicated source button allows for rapid switching between Bluetooth, Analog, and USB inputs.
- Full-Range Performance: Engineered to provide the rich, immersive sound and lifelike stereo imaging usually reserved for much larger studio monitors.
Use Cases
- Gaming: Ideal for gamers seeking full immersion, where the high level of detail reveals critical audio cues like footsteps, distant explosions, and environmental effects.
- Music Production & Listening: Perfect for creators who need accurate imaging and spatial depth to ensure guitars and vocals occupy their own distinct spot in the mix.
- Compact Workstations: A premium solution for home offices or small studios where desk real estate is limited but audio quality cannot be compromised.
