Description
Overview
The Gibraltar Compact Performance Stool With Footrest (Short) is a professional-grade seating solution designed for percussionists and musicians who require maximum stability without sacrificing a compact footprint. Engineered for durability and long-term comfort, this stool combines a heavy-duty tripod base with high-density cushioning to support performers during intense sessions or long stage sets.
Key Details
- Enhanced Stability: Features a double-braced tripod design equipped with the proprietary Super Foot stabilizer to prevent slipping and ensure a rock-solid foundation on any stage surface.
- Premium Comfort: The 13-inch round seat is outfitted with 2-inch thick high-density padding, reducing fatigue during extended performances.
- Integrated Ergonomics: Includes a dedicated footrest attached directly to the leg base, allowing for better posture and lower-body support.
- Expandable Design: The seat is pre-drilled, providing the option to add a lower lumbar backrest for additional ergonomic support.
Use Cases
- Percussion Rigging: Ideal for congueros, bongoceros, and auxiliary percussionists who need a stable, short-profile seat.
- Studio Recording: The compact dimensions make it perfect for tight studio spaces where a full-sized throne would be obstructive.
- Live Performance: The double-braced legs and Super Foot stabilizer make it reliable for high-energy stage environments.
Installation
This stool arrives largely pre-assembled. Setup involves securing the seat to the tripod base and ensuring the footrest is locked into position. If you choose to add an optional lumbar backrest, use the pre-drilled holes in the seat to bolt the accessory securely using the provided or compatible hardware.
Compatibility
This stool is compatible with most standard percussion setups. It is specifically designed for musicians requiring a “Short” height profile. The pre-drilled seat is compatible with Gibraltar-branded lumbar backrest accessories.
