Description
Overview
The ChordBuddy Guitar Learning System is a specialized instructional tool designed to remove the initial physical barriers of learning the guitar. By clamping directly onto the guitar neck, this device allows beginners to play full chords with the press of a button, bypassing the struggle of finger strength and complex chord shapes. This specific offering is the Teacher’s Version, providing the hardware device for those who already possess instructional materials or for educators managing a classroom setting.
Key Details
- Instant Chord Execution: Enables users to play chords immediately without needing to master difficult finger placements.
- Hardware-Only Pack: This version contains the ChordBuddy device only; it does not include the songbooks or instructional materials found in the full system.
- Right-Handed Design: Specifically engineered for use with right-handed guitarists.
- Universal Clamp: Designed to securely attach to the majority of standard electric and acoustic guitars.
Use Cases
- Classroom Instruction: Ideal for music teachers who provide their own curriculum and need multiple devices for students to use in a group setting.

Installation
Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modifications to the instrument. The device simply clamps onto the neck of the guitar. Users should ensure the device is positioned correctly relative to the frets to ensure clean note articulation. For those using guitars with wider necks (approximately 1-7/8 inches), such as classical guitars, a specific classical version of the device is required.
Compatibility
- Guitar Type: Compatible with most standard right-handed acoustic and electric guitars.
- Neck Width: Designed for standard neck widths; not compatible with wide-neck classical guitars (requires model HL#146969).
