Description

Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Super Thunder Rig Library is a specialized expansion for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the sonic characteristics of the legendary Supro Thunderbolt 1×15″ combo. Known for its warm, punchy, and authoritative tone, the Supro Thunderbolt owes its character to its 35-Watt “Class A” Cathode bias power amp, a sound now available digitally through high-precision capturing technology.

Unlike standard modeling, this library utilizes Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology to record the entire signal chain. This includes the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the specific cabinet resonance, microphone placement, the mic preamplifier, and the ambient room sound. The result is a collection of 70 professional rigs that reproduce every nuance of the original hardware.
