Description

Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Super Magic Rig Library for TH-U is a specialized expansion library designed to recreate the legendary sound of the Supro Black Magick 1695T. This 25-watt, Class A, all-tube amplifier is a faithful recreation of the ’59 Coronado circuitry used by Jimmy Page during the early days of Led Zeppelin, offering guitarists the exact tonal characteristics of that iconic “early Led” era.

Utilizing Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, this library goes beyond simple modeling. It captures the entire signal chain—including the nonlinear dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier, and the specific room acoustics—to provide a highly authentic playing experience. The library includes 93 meticulously crafted rigs, all accessible via the Rig Player integrated into TH-U.

Best For

Use Cases

Classic Rock Production: Perfect for producers and guitarists seeking the specific mid-forward, harmonically rich grit of early 1970s British rock.
Studio Recording: Ideal for project studios that require a high-end tube amp sound without the noise, space, or cost of a physical 25-watt all-tube rig.
Sound Design & Composing: Useful for composers needing repeatable, professional-grade guitar tones that integrate seamlessly into a DAW.
