Description

Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Ronald GP8 Rig Library is a specialized expansion for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary sound of the Roland GP-8 hybrid analog/digital guitar processor. By pairing the GP-8 with a tube power amp and capturing the results through Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, this library provides an authentic sonic window into the iconic guitar tones of the 80s and 90s.

Unlike standard modeling, these 69 professional rigs are created from real-world setups. The capturing process preserves the nonlinear and dynamic response of the entire signal chain, including the amplifier, cabinet, microphones, preamplifier, and the specific acoustics of the room, ensuring a high-fidelity reproduction of the original hardware’s nuance.
