Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Pivy 3X Rig Library is a high-performance expansion for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the aggressive, all-tube roar of the authentic Peavey XXX (Triple X) amplifier. Known as a “King of Metal,” this library provides guitarists and producers with a massive collection of 151 professionally captured rigs, delivering the high-gain saturation and dynamic response required for modern heavy music.

Utilizing Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, the Pivy 3X library goes beyond simple modeling. It captures the entire signal chain—including the nonlinear response of the amplifier, the specific characteristics of the cabinet, microphone placement, preamplifier nuances, and the acoustic properties of the room—ensuring a realistic, studio-grade tone directly in your DAW.

  • Sound Design: Useful for producers needing repeatable, high-quality distorted guitar textures for cinematic or industrial soundscapes.
  • Home Studio Tracking: Allows users to achieve the sound of a fully mic’d tube stack and professional room acoustics without the noise or equipment cost.
