Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Ornage DA30T Rig Library is a professional expansion pack for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary sonic characteristics of the Orange AD30 HTC. This 30W head is a hybrid of two British-style vintage amplifiers, utilizing a valve-rectified twin channel to deliver the warm, time-honored EL84 sound that defined an era of guitar amplification.

Renowned for its versatility, this library captures the essence of an amp favored by Country, Blues, Pop, Funk, and Indie artists. Users can access everything from classy, bell-like cleans to a crispy, “broken up” style crunch, all characterized by a controlled, natural compression that sits perfectly in a professional mix.

What Stands Out

Key Details

The Ornage DA30T Pack provides 48 high-fidelity rigs captured using a world-class signal chain of cabinets, microphones, and pedals to ensure maximum authenticity.

  • Cabinet Selection: Includes captures from EVH 5150III (Celestion G12EVH), Mesa Boogie (Celestion V30), Marshall (Celestion G12T75), Randall (Celestion V30), Engl (Celestion V60), Soldano (Eminence Legend V12), Fender Showman (JBL D130), and Fender Bassman.
  • Microphone Array: Captured using industry-standard mics including Neumann U87, U47, and KM84; Shure SM7 and SM57; Sennheiser MD421; Beyerdynamic M160; and Electrovoice RE20.
  • Integrated Effects: Rigs feature captures of the Mesa Grid Slammer and MXR Berzerker OD for added grit and saturation.
Best For

Use Cases

  • Studio Production: Ideal for recording sessions requiring authentic British vintage tones without the need for high-volume amplification.
  • Genre-Specific Tones: Perfect for Indie and Pop artists seeking “bell-like” cleans or Blues and Country players needing a natural, tube-driven crunch.
  • Sound Design: Useful for producers needing repeatable, high-quality guitar textures for composing and mixing.
