Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Fried BE100 is a premium expansion library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary sound of an authentic Friedman BE100 head. As the first-ever capture of this iconic amplifier, this library brings the essence of Dave Friedman’s most cherished project directly into your DAW. The BE100 is celebrated as the modern evolution of the 1980s modded Marshall amps that defined thousands of classic rock records, offering a high-gain saturation and harmonic richness that is essential for rock and metal production.

This comprehensive library features 99 professional rigs, each carefully crafted using a world-class signal chain of cabinets, microphones, and overdrive pedals to ensure studio-grade results immediately upon loading.

Best For

Use Cases

  • Rock & Metal Production: Ideal for tracking rhythm guitars and searing leads that require the punch and clarity of a modded British stack.
  • Studio Mixing: Provides a repeatable, high-end amp tone without the need for expensive microphones, sound-treated rooms, or high-volume amplification.
  • Sound Design: Perfect for producers needing a versatile high-gain foundation that can be further shaped within the TH-U environment.
Setup Notes

Installation

After purchase, follow the publisher’s instructions to download the library and activate your digital license. The installation process involves adding the library files to your TH-U directory and performing a plugin scan within your DAW. This software supports authorization on up to three computers and one USB stick via a one-click procedure; no physical hardware dongle is required.
