Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Fend Concerto Rig Library is a professional expansion pack for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the iconic sound of an authentic Fender Concert combo. Combining American design with a “half twin, double tone” philosophy, this library provides a massive collection of 93 high-fidelity rigs.

Utilizing Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, this library goes beyond simple modeling. It captures the entire signal chain—including the nonlinear dynamic response of the amplifier, the specific cabinet resonance, microphone placement, preamplifier characteristics, and the natural room acoustics. This ensures that every nuance of the original hardware is preserved for your digital workstation.

What Stands Out

Key Details

  • Comprehensive Rig Collection: Includes 93 professionally captured rigs ranging from crystal-clear cleans to mid-gain saturation.
  • Premium Cabinet Selection:
    • Fender 2×12 with Jensen C12K and Eminence Special Design speakers.
    • Fender 4×10 loaded with Fender CTS speakers.
    • Fender 1×12 with Celestion V-Type and Alnico Blue speakers.
    • Fender Bassman 2×12 loaded with Celestion G1250 speakers.
  • Elite Microphone Array: Captured using industry-standard mics including Shure SM57, SM58, SM7; Sennheiser MD421, e609; Beyerdynamic M160; Audiotechnica AT2035; and Neumann KM84, U47, TLM103, and U87.
  • Integrated Pedal Tones: Rigs incorporate captures of legendary pedals such as the MXR Distortion III, MXR Modified OD, Analogman King of Tone, Suhr Shiba Drive, and Marshall Bluesbreaker.
Best For

Use Cases

  • Funk & R&B Production: The ideal choice for 80s and 90s funk tones, providing the “spank” and clarity required for clean rhythmic parts.
  • Studio Recording: Perfect for producers who need authentic, high-end amplifier sounds without the need for a physical room or expensive mic locker.
  • Sound Design: Useful for creating repeatable, professional guitar textures in composing and mixing sessions.
