Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Carved Vai is a premium expansion library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the iconic sound of the Carvin Legacy VL100 (Steve Vai signature) amplifier head in its 6L6 voiced version. This library captures the essence of a 100W dual-channel, all-tube powerhouse known for its versatility, ranging from sparkling, crystalline cleans to the big, fat saturation required for high-gain rock and metal soloing.

Featuring 46 professionally captured rigs, Carved Vai provides guitarists and producers with the exact tonal characteristics of Steve Vai’s signature amplifier, including the nuanced response of its volume, bass, mid, treble, and presence controls.
