Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Brit J71 is a professional expansion library for Overloud’s TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary roar of a 1971 Marshall JMP 100W. This library captures the essence of the “Plexi Super Lead” tone, delivering a massive, monster-like texture and unbelievable harmonic richness. Whether you are seeking the classic crunch of the early 70s or a high-gain wall of sound, the Brit J71 provides 133 expertly crafted rigs to cover every nuance of this iconic amplifier.

To ensure total authenticity, Choptones captured all original input configurations. This includes the distinct tonal differences between inputs I and II (Low and High sensitivities), as well as the expanded tonal capabilities achieved when bridging inputs I and II, giving you complete control over the amplifier’s legendary versatility.

Use Cases

  • Studio Mixing & Mastering: Ideal for producers who need repeatable, high-end amp tones without the need for a physical cranked stack and sound-proofed room.
  • Sound Design: Leverage the bridged input configurations to create unique, saturated textures for cinematic or experimental audio.
