Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Bogie IIC P Rig Library for Overloud TH-U is a comprehensive expansion pack designed to meticulously recreate the sonic characteristics of the legendary Boogie Mark IIC+ 2 Channel Simul-Class head. This massive library provides one of the most complete captures of this iconic amplifier ever created, offering 250 professional rigs that span the full spectrum of the amplifier’s versatility.

Beyond the amplifier captures, this library introduces a dedicated Graphic EQ pedal model into TH-U. This pedal specifically recreates the 5-band EQ found on the IIC+ head, allowing users to achieve the distinctive voicing and precise frequency shaping that defined the “California sound.”

Best For

Use Cases

  • High-Gain Production: Ideal for rock and metal producers seeking the tight, saturated lead tones and punchy rhythms associated with the Mark IIC+.
  • Tonal Sculpting: Perfect for guitarists who need the specific 5-band Graphic EQ to carve out a precise place in a dense mix.
  • Studio Versatility: Useful for session musicians who need to switch between 60W and 100W power profiles and various cabinet/mic combinations without physical re-amping.
