Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Bogie DC Bundle is a comprehensive expansion library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary sonic characteristics of three authentic Mesa Boogie amplifiers. This bundle focuses on the celebrated Dual Caliber series, providing a professional-grade alternative to the Rectifier and Mark series without sacrificing power or versatility.

Featuring a massive collection of 264 high-fidelity rigs, this library captures the essence of the Studio Caliber DC2, Dual Caliber DC3, and DC5. Whether you are seeking tight high-gain saturation or rich, complex cleans, the Bogie DC Bundle delivers a wide variety of tones captured through an elite signal chain of premium cabinets and microphones.

  • Integrated Pedals: The signal chain incorporates high-end captures of the Mesa Grid Slammer, Mesa Flux Drive, and Marshall Bluesbreaker.
Best For

Use Cases

  • High-Gain Production: Ideal for rock and metal producers needing the specific “thick” saturation and punch associated with Mesa Boogie amplifiers.
  • Versatile Studio Tracking: Perfect for session guitarists who need to switch quickly between different Dual Caliber revisions to find the exact harmonic content for a track.
  • Professional Mixing: Provides pre-captured, studio-grade rigs that eliminate the need for expensive outboard gear and complex mic placement.
  • Sound Design: Useful for creating repeatable, consistent guitar tones across large-scale projects in a DAW environment.
Setup Notes
