Product Overview

Overview

The Choptones Archer 100W 6L6 is a professional expansion library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the sonic characteristics of a 100W PRS Archon tube head equipped with 6L6 power tubes. Engineered for the heavier side of the musical spectrum, this library provides a commanding presence and “killer” metal tones that maintain extreme clarity even under heavy distortion.

Whether you are recording drop-tuned chugging rhythms or high-gain shred solos, the Archer 100W 6L6 ensures that every note within a chord remains defined and articulate. This library provides a massive collection of 336 captured rigs, offering an expansive range of tonal combinations to suit any high-gain production.

Best For

Use Cases

  • Modern Metal Production: Ideal for drop-tuned rhythms and aggressive “chugging” where low-end tightness and clarity are essential.
  • Lead Guitar Tracking: Perfect for over-the-top shred solos that require sustain and definition without becoming muddy.
  • Professional Mixing: Provides a repeatable, high-quality amp tone for project studios and professional rooms needing a consistent “wall of sound.”
  • Sound Design: Useful for producers seeking authentic high-gain tube saturation for industrial or cinematic heavy textures.
