Product Overview

Overview

The Brit Silver Jub is a professional expansion library for Overloud TH-U, meticulously designed to recreate the legendary sound and response of the Marshall Silver Jubilee* amplifier. This library provides guitarists and producers with a massive collection of high-fidelity captures, covering everything from the crystalline cleans of the Normal channel to the aggressive saturation of the Lead channel and the iconic punch of the Rhythm Clip mode.

Beyond the amplifier captures, this library introduces the SL Guitar EQ, a specialized two-band equalizer inspired by 4K Console EQs. Specifically shaped for guitar frequencies, it allows users to add thickness and presence to their tone without sacrificing the natural organic feel of the amplifier.

What Stands Out

Key Details

  • Extensive Rig Collection: Includes 70 captured rigs featuring multiple dynamics and channel settings to cover a wide sonic spectrum.
  • Professional Preset Suite: 49 curated presets created by engineer Antonio Porcelli (Caparezza), categorized by pickup type (Strat, Les Paul, and Tele).
  • Ready-to-Mix Presets (40): Tones specifically shaped for the mix with tightened low-end, enhanced presence, and no ambiance for immediate integration into productions.
  • Ready-to-Play Presets (9): Designed for practicing, soloing, or playing along to backing tracks, providing the authentic feel of a real amplifier in a room.
  • Premium Cabinet & Mic Selection: Rigs were captured using a world-class signal chain including:

Cabinets: Orange PPC412 4×12″, Vox 2×12″ Alnico Blue, Brunetti 1×12″ Singleman, and Mesa Boogie 1×10″ Lone Star.

    Microphones: Shure SM57, SM81; Neumann KM84, U87; Sennheiser MD421, e609; and Electro Voice RE20.
Best For

Use Cases

  • Studio Recording: Use the “Ready-to-Mix” presets to bypass hours of tweaking and get a polished, radio-ready guitar tone that sits perfectly in a dense arrangement.
  • Live Performance: Leverage the “Ready-to-Play” presets for a realistic amp-in-the-room experience during live sets or rehearsals.
  • Tone Shaping: Utilize the SL Guitar EQ to carve out space in a mix or add “weight” to a thin-sounding guitar track.
  • Genre Versatility: Transition seamlessly between classic rock, heavy metal, and high-gain lead work using the Lead and Rhythm Clip captures.
Setup Notes

Installation

Once installed, the library integrates directly into the TH-U interface. Authorization is flexible, allowing for activation on up to three computers and one USB stick via a simple one-click process; no physical hardware dongle is required.
