Description

Product Overview

Overview

The BM Bogna EC Classic Rig Library for TH-U is a professional-grade tone expansion created by Bert Meulendijk. This library meticulously recreates the sonic characteristics of the Bogner Ecstacy Classic all-tube head, providing a versatile palette that spans from crystalline “Fender-style” cleans to aggressive British mid-gain and high-gain saturation.

Utilizing Overloud’s proprietary capturing technology, this library goes beyond simple modeling. It captures the entire signal chain—including the amplifier’s nonlinear dynamic response, the cabinet, microphones, preamplifiers, and the specific room acoustics—to deliver a highly authentic, studio-ready guitar tone via the integrated TH-U Rig Player.

What Stands Out

Key Details

  • Comprehensive Rig Collection: Includes 140 Rigs covering every combination of the original amplifier’s three channels (Green/Clean, Blue/Mid Gain, Red/High Gain) and three gain structures (Tight, Loose, and Medium).
  • Curated Presets: Features 27 patches based on Bert Meulendijk’s favorite tones, plus 9 additional exclusive patches specifically for TH-U Premium users.
  • Stryverb Reverb: A custom-designed, rich and lush reverb effect featuring a long, modulated tail for a modern, atmospheric vibe.
  • Parallel Compression: A specialized stompbox with a dedicated Parallel knob, allowing users to blend direct and compressed signals for precise dynamic control.
  • Advanced Capturing: Reproduces every nuance of the sampled hardware setups, combining the response of the amp, cab, and room.
Best For

Use Cases

  • Studio Production: Ideal for producers needing authentic, high-end tube amp tones without the need for physical microphones or loud amplifiers.
  • Genre Versatility: Perfect for sessions requiring a wide range of sounds, from clean jazz and pop to heavy rock and metal.
  • Sound Design: Useful for guitarists looking to experiment with parallel compression and modulated reverbs to create unique sonic textures.
  • Live Performance: Provides a stable, repeatable rig for performers using TH-U as their primary guitar processor.
Setup Notes

The authorization process is a simple one-click procedure that does not require a hardware dongle. Note: This library requires a compatible version of TH-U to function.
